Man in his 70s in serious condition after collision in Churchdown

A man in his 70s is in a serious condition in hospital after he was hit by a car in Churchdown.

Emergency services were called to Cheltenham Road East at around 4.40pm yesterday, 14th December, following reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a car.

The man was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol, where he is being treated for serious injuries.

Cheltenham Road East is currently closed between Innsworth Road and Pirton Lane while collision investigators examine the scene.

Gloucestershire Police are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage to come forward if they have not yet spoken to officers.
