Man has car stolen at Cotswolds petrol station
Police believe the suspects involved may be linked to an earlier attempted burglary
Police are appealing for witnesses to a robbery at a service station in Moreton-in-Marsh on Sunday night (30 January).
Officers are investigating reports that four men in balaclavas threatened a motorist at the petrol station on Stow Road at around 11.15pm, before taking his car.
Two of the men drove off in the stolen red Golf GTD, while the others followed in a second vehicle, thought to be a silver or light-coloured Nissan X-Trail.
Investigating officers believe the men are linked to an attempted burglary in Granbrook Lane, Mickleton earlier that evening.
Four masked males, aged between 20 and 30, tried to gain access to a back garden at around 10.10pm.
It is believed they were targeting a vehicle on the driveway. However, they were disturbed and drove off in a light-coloured car.
Anyone with information about the incidents, or who may have witnessed either of them, is asked to contact officers through the website, quoting incident 457 of 30 January for the Mickleton incident or 468 of 30 January for the Moreton incident.
