Man given injunction following anti-social behaviour in Stroud

A man from Stroud's been given an Anti-Social Behaviour Injunction following drunken behaviour in the town.
64 year-old Martyn Tandy was given the order - following numerous complaints from the public and local businesses reporting drunken, abusive and anti-social behaviour.
The order will remain in place until 4pm on 6 March 2024.
PC Hurst from the Stroud Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “Martin Tandy has been a prolific offender within Stroud Town centre over recent years.
"He has caused disruption to the local businesses and distress to visitors to the town. We have tried to assist him in getting support around his drinking but he has not engaged. This order was sought in an effort to stop Tandy from continuing in this manner.
"Anyone who sees Tandy breaching any of the conditions of the injunction is asked to assist police by contacting us with the details of the breach so that it can be dealt with robustly."
