A man from Gloucester's had an emergency injunction handed down to him by court - to stop him behaving anti-socially anywhere in the city.

47 year old Andrew Hadley will face immediate police action if he breaks the terms of the order.

They include doing anything likely to cause alarm, harassment or distress to anyone - or using or threatening to use violence as well as carrying anything with a blade.

Solace Street Aware Lead Officer Adam Stevens said: “Hadley has been involved in low level alcohol related anti-social behaviour in the city for some time.

"After a sudden increase in violent and aggressive behaviour, we approached the courts in order to obtain this emergency injunction.

"Whilst the police will deal with any criminal offences, this order was sought to provide immediate protection to the public and to curtail his behaviours."
