A man from Cheltenham has been given an Anti-Social Behaviour Injunction after threatening people in the town with violence.

The injunction was granted against 45 year-old Ben Pass by Cheltenham and Gloucester County Court on 20 December.

Pass risks arrest if he breaches any of the injunction, which runs until 20 December.

Andy Wood, Cheltenham Borough Homes Anti-social behaviour team leader, said: “Anti-social behaviour is not acceptable in any form and should not be tolerated. Everyone has the right to feel safe in their home and community.

“With our partners in Gloucestershire Constabulary and Solace, we work together with victims and communities to prevent, investigate, and tackle high risk anti-social behaviour.

“Mr Pass has been offered countless opportunities to address his behaviour and seek the support he needs, yet he continued to cause harassment, alarm and distress to others.

“I would like to thank the victims and members of public who have been affected by Mr Pass’ behaviour for their support and patience; I appreciate that orders such as this can take time to be made formal.”
