Man dies after crash near Dursely

Police are now appealing for witnesses.

A man has died following a single-vehicle collision between Dursley and Kingscote yesterday evening (14th June)

It happened on the A4135 Whiteway at about 5pm and involved a motorcycle which had left the road.

The ambulance service attended the incident but the rider was pronounced dead a short time later.

Road closures were in place and may still be in place this morning (Thursday 15 June), while a serious collision investigation continues at the scene.
