Man arrested for attacking hospital staff at Gloucestershire Royal
Police are now appealing for witnesses
Police in Gloucester are appealing for witnesses after a man assaulted hospital workers earlier this month.
On Thursday 10 March it was reported that a man who was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital by the ambulance service had assaulted employees.
This took place between 3.30pm and 4pm and it was alleged that he had kicked and spat at staff from the hospital.
The man was described as being white, around 5ft 10ins tall and bald. He was wearing blue jeans, a black jacket and trainers.
He was detained at the hospital and arrested on suspicion of assault. The man has since been released under investigation.
Investigating officers are appealing for any witnesses of the incident to contact police.
