Man arrested after road rage incident in Cheltenham

Threats were made with an imitation handgun.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a road rage incident in Cheltenham in which a man made threats with an imitation handgun.

It happened on Princess Elizabeth Way just after 10am on Saturday.

A 28 year-old man from Tewkesbury was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm and affray and has been released under investigation.

The incidents involved the drivers of a silver BMW 3 series and a silver Ford Zetec.

The road was temporarily closed.
