Man arrested after drugs and cash seized in Gloucester

A man's been arrested on suspicion of drugs supply after police raided a property in Gloucester.

It happened this morning in the St Oswald's area. - officers also seized £3000 in cash along with cannabis and drugs paraphernalia.

A 36-year-old man from Stroud has been arrested on suspicion of the supply of class B drugs and remains in police custody

Sergeant Andrew Doyle, from the Gloucester Neighbourhood Policing team, said: "Concerns had been raised to us by those living in the community about possible illegal activity taking place, and we've acted on this information.

"The intelligence enabled us to secure a warrant and due to this drugs and cash have been seized. This type of activity impacts our communities and it won’t be tolerated.

"If you have concerns about criminal activity taking place, you can provide information anonymously to independent crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers or police."
