Man arrested after allegedly stealing delivery van in Gloucester
A 20 year old man from the Forest of Dean has been arrested on suspicion of theft of a vehicle
A Forest of Dean man has been arrested after a delivery van was stolen in Gloucester this morning (Tuesday 25 July).
A 20 year old has now been taken into police custody on suspicion of theft of a vehicle.
He allegedly sped away from Northgate Street just before 9am, with parcels falling out the open rear door.
Following searches by officers and the National Police Air Service, the abandoned van was soon located.
The van and parcels have now been returned to the delivery driver.
