Traffic stopped on the M5 due to lorry fire

All traffic is being stopped on the M5 Northbound at junction 13

A lorry has caught fire on the M5 this morning (13th June).

All traffic was stopped on the M5 at junction 13, near Stroud, but the roads have now cleared

Traffic monitoring site Inrix reported the fire at 7:45am.

In a post on X, Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue said: "We are in attendance at a lorry fire between junctions 13 and 14 of the #M5 northbound.

"The M5 is currently closed in BOTH directions.

"If you are in the area please keep your windows closed."
