Man arrested after fatal M50 lorry crash
Two HPV lorries crashed near Tewkesbury yesterday

Officers are appealing for witnesses following a fatal crash involving two lorries on the M50 yesterday morning (Thursday 29 February)
The crash happened around 10.50am eastbound between Junctions 1 and 2 and involved two HGV lorries.
One of the drivers, a 32-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the other HGV, a 47-year-old man, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
He has since been released on police bail as enquiries continue.
Inspector Steph Arrowsmith, said: “I would like to recognise and thank the public for their understanding and co-operation yesterday as we carried out our initial investigation into the collision.
“Due to the complexity of the load shed from one of the vehicles following the collision this did cause long delays for other road users, as we cleared the carriageway and made the area safe.
“I would also like to thank our colleagues from other emergency services and agencies for their support."
Yesterday, drivers queued for more than 9 hours, waiting for emergency services to clear an oil spill at the scene of the crash.
