More needs to be done to ensure Gloucestershire's roads are safe for horse riders according to local horse-riders.

That's why many equestrians are supporting today's national 'Pass Wide and Slow' campaign which aims to raise awareness of the issue.

Events are taking place in Cheltenham and Nailsworth today.

According to the latest data from Department of Transport, there were 22 road accidents that involved an object or animal being on the road, in 2019.
