Heavy rain and strong, gusty winds are expected to hit Gloucestershire today.

The Met Office has issued yellow weather warnings for wind and rain. It is in force between 9.00am - 7.00pm. It was initially due to start at 10.00am but has since been updated

There's a chance it could lead to flooding and transport delays.

What to expect?

  • Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer
  • Some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport are likely
  • Delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges likely
  • Flooding of a few homes and businesses is possible
