Two people arrested after Tewkesbury hammer attack
A teenager was reportedly hit over the head in Friday night
Two people have been arrested after a teenager was hit over the head with a hammer in Tewkesbury.
Police were called to Oak Drive shortly after midnight after it was reported that a teenager had been hit over the head with a hammer by two people.
A 34-year-old man and 34-year-old woman, both from Tewkesbury, were arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm and have since been released under investigation.
The victim was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital with a head wound and has since been discharged.
