Two people have been arrested after a group of men attacked a house in Cheltenham.

Police say it happened at about 8.15pm on Friday (December 29), involving three men who'd smashed the windows and door of a house on Buttermere Close - before fleeing the scene in a black car.

The men, are reported by officers to have been all dressed in black.

They are said to have had their faces covered with balaclavas, and were seen carrying what appeared to be a baseball bat, a hammer and a bladed weapon.

Two people, a 17-year-old boy and a 21-year-old man, were later arrested on suspicion of affray and remain in police custody whilst enquiries continue.

Officers say they would like to speak to anyone who has relevant CCTV or dashcam footage of the incident, and add they would also like to speak to anybody who may have information and who has not already talked to police.
