Tonight's meeting (Tuesday 24 January) is a follow up of one that took place in August last year. This is the second time Gloucestershire Constabulary have hosted the meeting alongside partner agencies to discuss concerning events in the area.

The first meeting followed two reports of rape leading to safety concerns. A local resident requested a later meeting to get an update on conversations being had on the topic.

All members of the public are welcome to attend the meeting that is taking place at the Subscription Rooms in George Street from 6:15pm.

The panel will include police officer, the Police and Crime Commissioner and experts from other agencies who will provide updates and answer questions.

Following a number of question about schools and the role of education in tackling male violence against women and girls, representatives from local schools and colleges have been invited to attend the meeting.

Those wanting to ask questions have been asked to submit them through Gloucestershire Constabulary before the event.
