Police appeal for witnesses after sexual assault in Cheltenham
The incident took place while the victim was running near Montpellier Gardens
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man sexually assaulted a woman in Cheltenham.
It happened around 7pm on Monday 10 June when the 27-year-old victim was on a run near Montpellier Gardens.
A man smacked her on the bottom as she ran past him near the number 94 bus stop.
The woman stopped and challenged the man, who laughed and apologised. He then he got onto the 94X bus to Gloucester.
The man was described as white, under 30 years old and had short, spiked mousey brown hair. He wore a red Adidas zip-up jacket and had an Irish accent.
