Man hospitalized after three vehicle collision in the Forest of Dean

The incident took place on the B4215 in the early hours of the morning.

Two men have been taken to hospital after a three-vehicle collision near Highleadon, in the Forest of Dean this morning.

The incident happened at around 6.30am on the B4215 near to the Texaco petrol station. It involved a blue Ford Focus, a blue Ford Ranger and a white Ford Transit van.

One driver had to be extricated from his vehicle by the fire service.

The man, aged in his 60s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol by the ambulance service.

Another driver, a man in his 40s, was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. He has since been discharged. The third driver in the collision reported no injuries.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or who has relevant dashcam footage.
