A women was arrested after a teenage boy and his friends were approached and threatened with a Stanley Knife in the St Marks area of Cheltenham.

Police responded to reports yesterday afternoon after one of the boy's bikes was stolen.

They went onto conduct searches in the area before identifying a women who matched the description of the offender. She is also said to have been in possession of a stolen bicycle.

A 25 year old women from Liverpool was placed into police custody on suspicion of robbery in connection to the incident and remains there.

None of the boys suffered physical injures but they were shaken by what happened.

Investigating officers are asking anyone who witnessed the robbery, has information or any CCTV/dashcam footage to get in contact with them.
