Gloucestershire will welcome the Tour of Britain for Stage seven of UK's most prestigious cycle race.

It will be the first time the county has held a full stage after last year's race was cancelled due to the death of her Majesty the Queen.

Although its not been held entirely in Gloucestershire, the tour has passed through the county before.

In 2016 Stage Five started in South Wales, travelling through the Forest of Dean, Gloucester, Stroud and Dursley. Then for the penultimate stage in 2017, it went through the Cotswolds before finishing in Cheltenham.
