Gloucestershire postal services could be cut to three days a week
Royal Mail could reduce their services suggests regulator.
A report from regulator Ofcom said Royal Mail could save millions for pounds if their service is cut back.
Royal Mail could reduce the number of days it delivers letters from six per week to five or even three, under proposals to reform the service.
They said its current delivery network was "not sustainable" and that reform was "urgently needed".
But for the proposal to be accepted current laws would have to be changed by the government and parliament.
Such a move could see the introduction of a service where most deliveries take up to three days or longer, with a next-day service still available for any urgent letters.
