Tributes paid for a Gloucestershire man following St Ives collision
The family of Gloucestershire man who died following a collision in St Ives last month have paid tribute to him.
83 year old David Clark died a week after the collision on Trelyon Avenue - he and his wife Daphne were visiting from Gloucestershire.
Emergency services were called to Trelyon Avenue on 30 April where a collision involving a car and two pedestrians had occurred.
David Clark was taken to hospital where he later died on 7 May.
His family have said: “David Clark grew up and lived in Mickleton in the Cotswolds.
“A loving husband to Daphne, proud father to Kerry, Samantha and Grandfather to Gee, Issy, Will, Luke and Bea. Foster Grandad to Skye and Evie and Great Grandfather to Freddie.
“David and Daphne were on holiday in St Ives celebrating Daphne’s Retirement and their recent 50th Wedding Anniversary with their little dog Zara; a place they enjoyed visiting and spending time together.”
The family have asked for privacy at this difficult time.
