A Gloucestershire-based film company warns Brexit is causing "disruption" to the growth of the British industry and wants to see it "reversed".

Stroud's Espirit Film & TV provided Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny with specialist equipment for their underwater scenes.

Owner of Espirit Film and TV, Dave Blackman, says the UK's decision to leave the EU is a real "nuisance."

Adding, "It has caused actual financial loss, not only to us, but the entire industry.

"Its been a major problem ... we find it very difficult to move around and cross borders at the moment.

"We lose a 6-figure sum every year from restrictions and costs caused by Brexit."

"We are trying to work worldwide, our industry is worldwide.

"It just so happens to be that our largest trading block, which is geographical next to us, is restricted."

Downing Street says the UK's capitalising on the benefits made possible by the Brexit vote.

According to them, this includes a new model to get cutting-edge drugs faster, a points-based immigration system and opportunities from new worldwide trade deals.
