Gloucester man jailed for hiding drugs in Kinder Egg containers

A Gloucester man who had hidden drugs in Kinder Egg containers has been sentenced to almost five years in prison.

It's after officers found drugs worth £1,200 at a property in Gloucester on 27 October last year.

36 year-old Kieron Pettigrew of Eastgate Street, appeared at Gloucester Crown Court on Friday where he was jailed for four years and nine months.

Speaking after the verdict, Sergeant Bobby George, from the Vanguard team, said: “Pettigrew thought that he could hide himself and his drug dealing from us.

“This sentence reflects the pain and impact that drug dealing can cause our communities. We will continue to do all we can to bring these pedlars of misery to justice.”
