Girl injured after collision with motorised bike in Gloucester

A girl was injured after a collision with a motorised mountain bike in Gloucester.

It happened around 3.30pm on Thursday in Barnwood, as the girl was crossing the road after school - she suffered minor injuries.

A boy riding a mountain bike, which had been adapted with a petrol engine, was involved in a collision with the girl - and left the scene afterwards. Police are now looking to trace the boy.

The boy was described as being white, in his mid-teens, with short, light brown hair cut into a bowl at the front. He was dressed in black clothing.

Anyone with information is being urged to contact Gloucestershire Police.
