Fire at block of flats in Gloucester

There's been a fire in Gloucester.

Firefighters were called at 9.55am to reports of a block of flats on fire in Bedford Street.

Five fire engines were sent to the scene, two from Gloucester and three from Cheltenham.

Two people were rescued and six people suffered minor injuries.

The fire is now out and crews are still at the scene making the area safe.

The ambulance service and police were also in attendance.
