A family has had a 'remarkable' escape after the car they were travelling in ended up on its' side on a road in Gloucestershire.

They were travelling from Cirencester to Tetbury along the A433 on Good Friday, close to Culkerton and Troll when it happened.

The road was closed for two hours while emergency services attended the scene.

A man from the Dorset area has been arrested in connection with the incident.

He has been detained for a number of offences including suspicion of dangerous driving, and driving while unfit due to drink or drugs.
