Family 'can't describe the loss' after woman dies in Cheltenham collision

The family of a woman who passed away following a collision in Cheltenham last week have issued a tribute to their loved one.

The family of a woman who passed away following a collision in Cheltenham last week have issued a tribute to their loved one.

Linda Sawle, aged 62, passed away on Sunday (4 June) after being involved in a collision with a BMW in the Hester’s Way area of Cheltenham on Friday afternoon (2 June).

The collision took place while Linda was crossing the road on the corner of Bramley Road at the junction with Tanners Road.

She sustained leg and foot injuries and was taken home by the driver of the car before relatives took her to Cheltenham General Hospital for treatment. She was later discharged and returned home before passing away after her condition deteriorated.

Linda's family have now released the following statement: "We are saddened to announce the loss of our wife, mother, and nanny, Linda Sawle on Sunday 4th June 2023.

"Words cannot describe the loss we are feeling as a family."
