Driver taken to hospital after crash near Staunton

It happened just before 11.25am on the B4211 Worcester Road near Corse.

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision which happened near Staunton on Saturday.

Officers were called shortly before 11.25am with a report of a two-vehicle collision on the B4211 Worcester Road near Corse.

The collision involved a white Abarth Fiat and a grey Volkswagen Polo.

The Abarth Fiat ended up in nearby trees and the VW Polo remained on the road.

One of the drivers was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for rib fractures. They have since been discharged.

Anyone with information is being urged to contact police.
