Dramatic footage as water pipe bursts in Gloucester
The pipe is one of the largest in the network
A pipe has burst in Gloucester, shooting thousands of litres of water and debris up into the air.
It happened in the Matson area this morning - disrupting local people's supplies.
Severn Trent say the pipe is one of the largest in the network - and it's teams are working hard to carefully manage the flow of water.
In an update this morning, the water firm said: "Our teams are continuing to work hard to manage the burst pipe in Matson, that we're aware is causing some local disruption and we're working directly with anyone impacted by the burst.
"The pipe is one of the largest in the network, and our teams are working hard to carefully manage the flow of water while maintaining everyone's water supply.
"While supplies are on and we're working up repair plans, we are checking in on our customers on our priority services register to make sure they're okay, and have what they need. We'd like to thank the local community for their patience as we work, and for welcoming our teams."
