Child bitten by dog in Cheltenham
An 11 year old was bitten on the arm at Caernarvon Park earlier this month.
Police are appealing for information after a dog bit a child on the arm in Cheltenham earlier this month.
Officers received a report that a dog had attacked an 11-year-old boy in Caernarvon Park at around 7pm on Sunday 17 August.
The child sustained puncture wounds and bruising to his arm and received medical treatment from a doctor.
At the time of the incident, the dog, believed to be a Golden Labrador, was being walked on a lead by a women on a mobility scooter.
She also had an elderly dog with her, thought to be a Golden Retriever, which was off lead.
The dog owner did not provide any details or check on the child’s welfare following the incident.
Investigating officers want to trace the women and are appealing for her to come forward to provide an account of what happened.
The woman is described as being white and aged between 40 and 50 years old.
She was wearing a blue hooded top at the time of the incident and was riding a large, red mobility scooter.
