Darrell Clarke named new Cheltenham Town manager

He joins on a 2-year deal.

Cheltenham Town have hired Darrell Clarke as their new manager on a two-year contract.

He has previously been in charge of Port Vale, Bristol Rovers and Walsall.

Clarke led Port Vale to League One during the 2021-22 season.

The 45-year-old takes over from Wade Elliott who left the Robins after a winless start to the season.

The side are bottom of the League One table and have so far not scored a league goal this campaign.
