Land Rover owners in the Cotswolds urged to be vigilant after car thefts
Three cars were taken over the last week
People in the Cotswolds are being warned to stay vigilant after a spate of thefts of Land Rovers.
Gloucestershire Police say a car was stolen from a house in Poulton, near Cirencester, at around 4:30am on Friday.
It's after another Land Rover was stolen from the driveway of a property on Shalford Close in Cirencester overnight on Monday, and another from Park Street in Stow-on-the-Wold between 7pm and 8:15pm on Wednesday.
The latter car was discovered in Blockley later on Wednesday evening.
Anyone with information about the thefts is being asked to contact Gloucestershire Constabulary by calling 101 and quoting incident 83 of 12 April.
Vehicle owners are also being urged to take extra protection measures, including securely storing fobs and car keys away from the front door, ensuring vehicles are locked, and installing CCTV and security lighting.
