Gloucestershire Police have charged a man with wounding with intent following the assault of a man in Coleford earlier this month.

Officers were called to an incident taking place on Market Place in Coleford at around 9pm on May 12th.

When responders arrived, they found that a man had been assaulted at the address and, following lines of enquiry, a man was arrested.

Robert Minister, aged 37, from Coleford Road in Chepstow has now been charged by the force with wounding with intent.

The suspect appeared before Cheltenham Magistrates' Court last Friday (May 16th) in connection with his charges.

Following this, he was remanded into police custody once again and will now appear before Gloucester Crown Court on June 6th.
