Serious crash in Cirencester shuts A419
Road closures are expected to remain in place for a number of hours.
Road closures are in Gloucestershire place following a serious crash in Cirencester this morning (Wednesday 5th February).
Emergency services were called shortly after 10.30am with a report of a single vehicle collision on the A419 Cirencester Road near to Dobbies Garden Centre.
The road has been closed between Kingsmeadow and the Duke of Gloucester barracks, between the A429 Bristol Road and A419 Swindon/Cirencester Road and turning from Dobbies Garden Centre onto the A419.
They're expected to remain in place for a number of hours, with police asking motorists to plan their route in advance and avoid the area while emergency services remain at the scene.
Police are also appealing for any witnesses they're yet to speak to.
