Cheltenham Town Football Club say they are "delighted to announce a major new, multi-year, partnership with Completely-Suzuki as our new stadium naming rights partner".

The Robins will ply their trade at The Completely-Suzuki Stadium for at least the next two seasons as part of a collaboration that brings together a local business, a long standing supporter of the club and a global brand in the automotive sector.

Completely-Suzuki is a part of the Completely Motoring empire which boasts locations across the country and is also home to Completely Motorbikes - the home of over 1,500 new and premium used motorbikes.

With its HQ in Staverton, Completely-Suzuki is an integral part of the family run Completely Motoring Group which since its formation in 2009 has expanded into a business with locations across Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Leicestershire and Wales.

Central to the creation of this partnership is long standing Cheltenham Town supporter and successful entrepreneur Rob Ayland who’s affiliation with the club will reach a quarter of a century this year.

Rob’s support of the club has developed significantly and taken on many different guises over the last 25 years including; sponsorship of The Colin Farmer Stand, sponsorship of club events and working closely with a number of our playing and management staff in relation to supply of their vehicles.

Rob's relationship with manager Michael Duff goes back since Duff's time as a youth team player at the club, and the two have worked closely together throughout that time as both have seen their careers and businesses achieve huge success.

Commenting on Completely-Suzuki becoming stadium sponsor, Rob Ayland, Managing Director at Completely Motoring said: “As my business has grown across the UK, we become more and more proud of the area in which we started.

“To have sponsored Cheltenham for 25 years, and now having one of my businesses as the stadium sponsor is an incredibly proud moment. It’s a landmark for Cheltenham Town attracting support from a global brand.

“Suzuki GB have understood the loyalty and affection in which we hold the football club and supported the stadium sponsorship.

“I am sure at the opening game in the Completely-Suzuki Stadium my family will be quite moved as we celebrate the 25th year of support with such a fantastic new initiative for Completely-Suzuki.”

Michael Duff, Manager at Cheltenham Town Football Club added: ‘I’ve known Rob for the 26 years I’ve been at the club. He’s been good enough to sponsor me some cars, years and years ago, and even now, the two cars I own are from Rob. He’s looked after me and my family and has been great. He’s had a few bumps along the way, but to see them doing so well now shows what a bit of hard work can do.”

Richard Morris, Head of Commercial at Cheltenham Town Football Club added: "The support of our commercial partners is absolutely vital in helping us to achieve our aims and ambitions on and off the pitch and we’re delighted to announce this significant new partnership with Completely-Suzuki. Rob’s enthusiasm and passion for the club are evident, and being able to align the club with a local business and a global brand makes this a ‘first-of-its-kind’ partnership for the club. We’re grateful for the support Completely-Suzuki have given us and look forward to long and successful relationship between our two organisations.’’

The ground will now be known as the Completely-Suzuki Stadium ahead of Cheltenham's sixth season as a League One club which gets underway on 30 July.
