Cheltenham Police investigate suspected racially-aggravated assault

Police in Cheltenham are investigating - after a suspected racially-aggravated assault - in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

A member of the public reported seeing a man being assaulted and chased on the high street soon after midnight.... and reported hearing racial comments.

2 men from Cheltenham, aged 52 and 47, were arrested. Both men have now been released under investigation.

Officers would like anyone who witnessed the incident to get in touch with them.
