Cheltenham man given Anti-Social Behaviour Injunction

A man from Cheltenham has been given an Anti-Social Behaviour Injunction following his behaviour in and around Moors Avenue and other areas of the town.
41 year-old Jamie Pockett was served with the injunction yesterday following a hearing at Gloucester and Cheltenham County Court last week.
It followed reports he had been been acting in an intimidating way and threatening members of the public.
The order imposed by the court forbids Pockett from:
• Engaging in conduct which causes or is capable of causing alarm or harassment or distress to any person within the Borough of Cheltenham
• Using or threatening to use violence at any time to any person within the Borough of Cheltenham
• Entering or being in Moors Avenue, Cheltenham at any time
• Entering or being in any residential property without written permission from either the Landlord or the owner
The case against Pockett was brought by Solace, a joint team of officers from Gloucestershire Constabulary, Cheltenham Borough Council and Gloucester City Council.
A spokesperson for the Cheltenham Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "We want to inform the public of Pockett's injunction as his anti-social behaviour is causing real issues to vulnerable members of the community within Cheltenham.
"Anyone who sees Pockett breaching any of the conditions of the injunction is asked to assist police by contacting us with the details of the breach so that it can be dealt with robustly."
