Its the fourth and final day of Cheltenham Festival. Hundreds of thousands of people have visited the racecourse this week, to celebrate the return of spectators.

The big race today is the Gold Cup. The first edition was in 1819, and it was a vastly different affair from what it is today. That inaugural run was on the flat. It wasn’t until 25 years later that it became a jumps race.

As of the end of Day 3, it remains close for the prestigious Prestbury Cup. Ireland were ahead of Great Britain by just one victory.

There were more victories for female jockey Rachael Blackmore as she picked up the Gold Cup! She's the first female jockey to win horse racing's Gold Cup.

She rode favourite A Plus Tard to victory on the final day of the Cheltenham Festival. The Irish rider was also the first women to win the Grand National.

Defending champion Minella Indo was the runner-up, with Protektorat third.
