Cheltenham Festival 2022 is back! Spectators and visitors are being welcomed once again, after a one-year fan hiatus due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
A record breaking 68,506 people visited the Race Course on Day One. A big difference to the 0 who were able to attend last year!
Thousands of people returned to Cheltenham Racecourse today, with regulars describing it as "packed" compared to previous years. It also means the iconic "Cheltenham Roar" is back!

One of the big winners was Rachael Blackmore who retained her Champions Hurdle title on Honeysuckle. She's the only woman to ever win the race.
