Charge over sexual assault allegation in Gloucester

A 76-year old man has been charged in connection with the sexual assault of an elderly woman in her own home.
Eric Barton from Gloucester, has been charged with one count of rape.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Monday 7 March.
The charge relates to an incident which took place in the Hucclecote area of Gloucester yesterday afternoon, Saturday 5 March.
