Gloucestershire Police have launched an appeal for help following an assault at a pub in Stroud last month.

The force say it happened at the Lord John Wetherspoon on Russell Street between 2pm and 3pm on May 26, where it's reported a man had been assaulted.

Officers investigating the assault have already made a number of enquiries and have now released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

The assault is reported by the police to have taken place in the rear garden area, with an unknown man pushing the victim to the floor.

The victim suffered a fractured collar bone and injury to his knee following the assault.

Anyone who recognises the man pictured or has information about the assault is asked to make contact with the force.

Information can be provided to police online by completing their digital form and quoting incident 202 of 29 May.

Alternatively you can report information anonymously through the independent crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or through their website.
