CCTV appeal after elderly man conned in Cheltenham
The victim had £1,000 taken for "gutter maintenance"
Officers have issued CCTV images of two men officers would like to identify in connection with fraud offences in Cheltenham.
Police were contacted in November with a report that two men had conned an elderly man living on Swindon Lane out of over £1,000 for gutter maintenance work but never returned to complete the service.
The incident is believed to have taken place on Monday 8 November and was reported a day later.
Officers from the Local Policing Team have completed a number of enquiries since the incident, but are yet to identify the men, and are now asking for information from the public.
Anyone who has recognises the men pictured, thinks they have been a victim of this or who has any information is asked to get in contact.

- Never agree to have work done or part with money on your doorstep.
- Always get written quotes from at least two traders for any work.
- Always agree a price/payment arrangements along with start and finish dates in writing before any work starts.
- Remember that you don’t have to pay in full until you’re completely satisfied with the work.
