Police are looking for information on a cannabis farm they have found in an abandoned building in Tewkesbury.

Officers seized more than 250 plants confirmed to be the Class B drug in the Withyridge Gardens area on Monday.

No arrests have been made so far.

Sergeant Lucy Winterburn from Gloucestershire Police said:

“It is thanks to information from the public that we were able to carry out these actions which disrupt drug activity in our area.

“The people growing these drugs are exploiting the vulnerable and creating fear and misery in our communities.

“We will continue to do all we can to stop these criminals and bring them to justice. I would urge anyone with information to continue to speak to us and report any concerns so we can take the appropriate action.”
