A campaigner from the Gloucestershire Palestine Solidarity Campaign says Donald Trump's plans to take over Gaza are 'Ludicrous'.
The announcement took place at a news conference in Washington alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The US President has suggested that Palestinians could be relocated to Egypt or Jordan but both countries have rejected this idea.
Downing Street has rejected the idea that Donald Trump's remarks about the Gaza Strip could jeopardise the ceasefire deal in the Middle East.
The UK Government say they will "speak to President Trump and his team about all of his proposals”.
Keir Starmer told MP’s that Palestinians "must be allowed to rebuild and we should be with them in that rebuild on the way to a two-state solution".
Leaders from countries around the world have also rejected Trumps proposal including Turkey who have described his idea to resettle Gazans elsewhere as "unacceptable".
Zubair Ginwalla, a member of the Gloucestershire Palestine Solidarity Campaign told Greatest Hits Radio “He’s effectively saying he wants to displace natives from their homeland”.
“That is advocating for ethnic cleansing and it’s a war crime” Ginwalla added.
