£15,000 worth of tools and machinery stolen from Matson building site

Officers in Gloucester are appealing for witnesses after £15,000 worth of tools and machinery were stolen from a building site over the weekend.

Police were contacted with a report that unknown offenders had forced entry to a site on Winnycroft Lane in Matson before stealing a large quantity of tools and small plant machinery.

The burglary is believed to have taken place at some point between 1pm on Saturday (15th January) and 6.30am on Monday (17th January).

Officers are asking anyone with information or who has been offered tools for sale to please come forward.

Information can be submitted online by completing a form and quoting incident number 35 of 17 January.
