Blackpool v Forest Green cup match postponed for FA investigation

Forest Green Rovers have apologised to all fans who were planning to attend the match

Saturday's second round FA Cup fixture between Blackpool and Forest Green Rovers has been postponed.

In a statement shared online Forest Green say it is because of an FA investigation, though the details of what the FA is investigating are not clear.

"We will comply with the FA in their investigation and will provide a full update to supporters in the coming days once the investigation is complete," a statement on Forest's website reads.

"Forest Green Rovers apologises to both FGR and Blackpool fans who planned to attend tomorrow’s fixture."
