Gloucester City celebrate Armed Forces Day

A parade will take place outside Gloucester Cathedral today to celebrate Armed Forces Day

Gloucester celebrate Armed Forces Day today with a parade beginning in Gloucester Cathedral grounds at 12.10pm.

The parade will be blessed by Canon Craig Huxley Jones at 12.20pm and the march will start at 12.30pm

The Nailsworth Silver Band will lead the parade, helping to celebrate and show support for the Armed Forces community: currently serving troops; Service families; veterans; and cadets.

Family Day at Gloucester Docks

From 12.30pm until 7pm, Victoria Basin will be filled with a range of stalls, displays and opportunities to speak to members of the Forces.

Stalls include: Sea & Marine Cadets, Air cadets, Police Cadets, RNLI, Fire service, Glos Carers Hub, Policing Team and more.
