Appeal to identify man following theft of hundreds of pounds worth of roses

Police investigating the theft of hundreds of pounds worth of roses from a florists in Cheltenham have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to.

It was reported that a man had placed an order for ÂŁ465 worth of roses and told the employee that he had paid via bank transfer showing what was later found to be bogus confirmation details.

The employee raised concerns about the payment however the customer grabbed the flowers, walked out of the shop and did not return.

The theft took place at around 4.30pm on Monday 13 February.

Despite a number of enquires, investigating officers are yet to identify the man and are now asking for information from the public.

Anyone who recognises the man pictured or has any information about what happened is asked to contact police.
